Not sure if this is the right place or not, but I need some ideas of what color to powdercoat my twin setup. All the exhaust stuff and exhaust housing will be ceramic satin black, and I think Im gonna do the coolant cank in ceramic too. But I dunno what color to choose for the intake tubes, and the intercooler tube as well.

I've thought of color matching but my powder coaters don't have and exact match, its either to dark or too light. but let me know what ideas you guys have post pics if you like or some thing. Here is a pic of the truck and the twin setup. Im not apposed to any ideas, just wanna hear your thoughts.

Thanks

Wes

I did my intake in ceramic too, supposed to benefit IAT some. Are you putting blankets on the hot pipes? Coating or painting the turbo? Nice looking truck BTW.

I plan on ceramic coating the exhaust pipes, and exhaust housing, and then coating the turbo housing, but not ceramic, just gonna have it coated. Just dunno what color yet. and thanks for the compliment.:thumb:

Black or sliver hammertone would look great. Who's nerf bars, N-fab? Truck looks great by the way:thumb:

Is this the color your talking about or are you thinking of just a textured black or silver? and yea they are n-fabs, but had to modify them after I caught a rock and bent the mounting brackets so i had to make my own:D

I dunno it's pretty much a personal choice IMO. If you have a white or black truck then the sky is the limit on color choice. IMO I'd try and match the color of the exterior of your truck. IMO that would look best.

For instance a Red truck ,it looks good red. So I'd match your truck paint best or go black perhaps a satin or flat but might be a bitch to clean

You know you want to do Gunmetal gray! :D

I have been looking into it today. I hate making these choices, but I better call my powder coaters cause I left the parts there yesturday with the idea of candy red  so I'm gonna tell them to hold on untill I figure out what I want exactly.

be sure and do the hot side pipe in the same color too! (i'm sure you already thought of that though)

the only downside to doing the hotpipe in the same color is the heat so I was gonna do all the exhaust stuff in ceramic satin black. but i'll see what they offer.

here is a pic of the gunmetal grey, and then another cool color they call dormant sparkle copper I thought was kinda cool. but Im really thinking gray.
