Have you tried Nalley GMC ? I've had alot better luck finding random things on there. It does take a bit more digging but Def goes more in depth

In your Google search put NalleyGMC LB7 LLY LBZ one of the three and then the part description in the search. Call the them and speak to the lady that takes care of their online parts, she's quite knowledgeable...

Odd thing is that Dorman makes replacement fuel senders for all the gas trucks, but nothing for the diesel. You might be able to use the gas sender for the same size fuel tank and reuse the arm off the old one, similar to the DP link posted.

I will give them a call later this week and see if this is what I need. I need to get the fuel gauge working again. Im tired of using odometer.
Is this a big issue with these trucks? Seems there would be more people with this problem. I did also read of people using a dorman in place of the faulty one.
