Need part number?

Anyone know the part number for the fuel level sensor? All i can find on gmpartsdirect is the whole module. Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried Nalley GMC ? I've had alot better luck finding random things on there. It does take a bit more digging but Def goes more in depth

This is what I have found on Nalley. It says its for 18 gal. aux and the module says the level sender isnt serviceable. Will this still work with my 26 gal. tank?

This is what im gonna do to mine when its not sub zero out. already got the sending unit from amazon for $25. couldn't hurt to give it a shot. The old one isn't working anyways

In your Google search put NalleyGMC LB7 LLY LBZ one of the three and then the part description in the search. Call the them and speak to the lady that takes care of their online parts, she's quite knowledgeable...

Delphi makes a complete module reasonably priced.

Odd thing is that Dorman makes replacement fuel senders for all the gas trucks, but nothing for the diesel. You might be able to use the gas sender for the same size fuel tank and reuse the arm off the old one, similar to the DP link posted.

I will give them a call later this week and see if this is what I need. I need to get the fuel gauge working again. Im tired of using odometer.
Is this a big issue with these trucks? Seems there would be more people with this problem. I did also read of people using a dorman in place of the faulty one.
