I hooked up a new stereo, door speakers and amp to my truck and hooked the battery back up and the truck began to crank and will start and immediately die. Whenever I turn on the key (battery only) the truck will boot up very slowly code lights come first, then gauge lights, and finally head lights. I tried hooking up a code reader but the truck isn’t registering being in the on position. I completely unhooked amp and the new stereo and the truck stayed the same. Anybody have any answers?
