I just installed the sc4 kit. I put everything together and fired the truck up. I got codes 841 and 875 and the truck wont move. It says shift range inhibited. I tried turning the nsbu switch to correct the linkage with the dash but when I turned the switch the gear indicator never moved. I need help and ideas would be great. Thanks

do you have the tranny connector plugged in the trans or in the nsbu switch?

I don't quite follow what you mean, but everything is plugged in. I cleared the codes and tried starting it again. Every time I cycle the linkage I get codes. I tried a few times and got different codes. Here is a list of codes I cleared when I cycled the shifter.

1. 841,875
2. 875
3. 846,875,701
4. 841,872,873
5. 841,843
6. 841,872,873
7. 841
8. 841,846,871,872
9. 841

if everthing is plugged in, try jacking the rear up with the wheels off the ground, or on the hoist run it through the gears until the wheels start turning and clear the codes and things should be good, i went through this when i put my suncoast 4 in 2 yrs ago in my 02 chevy. i think i put too much fluid in my converter when i put it in the truck

It's possible to get codes like that the first time you put it in gear due to all the empty passageways taking time to fill up, but if your fluid level is right and they're not going away, then I'd say something else is wrong. I got a code or three both times I put a fresh trans in my truck for that reason, but with the exception of when I switched valvebodies and the reverse pressure switch O-Ring slid out of place before I tightened the PSM down (and even then, it would go into gear and reverse, just would be in limp mode so I had 3rd and reverse), they've always gone away after the fluid was up and they where cleared.

I was thinking that the fluid was working it's way through but wasn't sure. I will try it again in the morning. Thanks

Like vaz said make sure main harness is plugged in. If that isn't it make sure your valves move freely
