LBZ: Need Help: Denali Clip on Sierra Classic

I know I have seen one guy with a denali front clip on his truck on here...Anyone know who it is? Or could anyone tell me how to get the clip on the truck my body shop man says that the frame measurements are different on a 1/2ton denali than that of the 3/4 ton frame and he can't figure out how to make it work

Mainer has a Denali clip on his dmax as well. Its completely bolt on. I dont know why your body shop is having such a tough time with it. All you have to do is shim the bumper brackets up a bit.

Yeah thats the exact same thing I thought, I wish I knew why he is struggling, he's had it for a month I will pass the word on I'll be stopping by tomorrow and hopefully he can get it on, will that shimming also lift the bumper up that extra inch to close the gap where the black plastic piece once was? Also i'm pretty sure he ordered all the mounting brackets off of what he called a "1500awd denali" and says its a two inch difference in frame width??? Does he just need the standard 2500hd brackets to make it work and then shim the bumper up? Thanks

get it on? tow hooks can stay but need to be moved. needs to be lifted 2" and i had to trim the bottom corners of my radiator support, it does take a bit of figuring to get it to fit on just right.
