i have a 2001 lb7 2wd truck, that i just put 30 over nozzles on new head gaskets and studs, all new gaskets and lots of new parts including a custom made s475 over stock, i just finished everything last week and boom it cranks and wont start, fuel system is bled but i was throwing a cam sensor code, so i replaced the sensor and still no good, checked all wiring and its good did all electrical tests that i know of, so i had my local efi live guy come take a look and he saw there is no rpm, also he said there was loss of data link, so basically i have no idea what is up with this truck, checked the grounds and everything multiple times, and also had the security feature tuned out, im at a loss on what to do and cannot afford to take the truck anywhere, someone please help

It has the cam and crank sensor codes but I replaced the sensors with oem ones and I don't think it's the fuel system because it's not picking up rpms

It will turn over until the battery dies and it has enough pressure that it should be starting

Pull the crank sensor and see if you can wobble the tone wheel? Ohm position sensor wires all the way. Maybe the bale connector has a bent pin or something

If the TCM is shorting out the CAN bus, it could cause some serious problems. Try unplugging it and see if it starts.

If the ECU or FICM don't see RPM, it can't figure out when to fire the injectors, so it won't. Since it was reporting 0 RPM and a cam sensor earlier, I would quadruple-check the cam and crank sensor wires. I'd also stick a scope on the sensor outputs and make sure they are sending out valid data.

Electrical problems always suck because they require special tools to diagnose.

If you live within a couple hours of Boise, Idaho, I would be willing to drive out with my scope and check it out this weekend. Or see if you can find someone local with a scope who is willing to check it out.
