LBZ: Need EFI & DSP5 Instal

I am new to the forum and the diesel world, but i now have been bit by the bug! I am running a Diablo tuner but would like better performance and economy... I would like to run EFI live. I plan on getting Idaho Rob ECM but need a shop in the West Texas area to install the DSP5. Any suggestions?

Yea you can for sure do the dsp switch yourself. Its 2 pins that go to the ecm and then you pick a place to mount your switch.

i maybe showing my ignorance, but doesnt the ecm need to be programed to acepet the dsp5 switch?

yes, but if you buy the EFI Live V2 you can do it yourself.
Rob sent me instructions with his tunes to programm the ecu.
It was pretty easy to do.

It's up to you, you can either buy a pre-programed ECM or EFI Live and simply
flash the tune in. Either way you have to install the DSP switch. $950-1100 is
the going rate for a V2 with a DSP tune.
