I need some input from people on my setup. Truck will run 123mph in the 1/4 but my 60 ft.'s are brutal. 1.74-1.78. the best i have ever done is 1.70. I am running 30.5 in. tall Toyo proxies, caltrac's set at about a 1/4 turn preload, overload leaf pulled, and Rancho 9000's set on 1. Is it possible i am to soft in the rear?

Possibly, does it feel like your front comes up too far on launch? Maybe you should try ditching the cal tracs and clamp the springs, or try both maybe. Also what shocks are you running?

got a video of one of your runs ? it can be very telling .....

a few things..... 1st try running the rancho's on 9 on the front for shure, but i would try the back as well , next read the thread on caltac hypothasis it will give you some info on how the bar mount hole can affect the function .

the biggest is @ your power level it might be time for a dot slick . post the vid it will help alot of people from just making wild guesses . we need to see if the rear is squating or front end coming up ect .

i would kick your caltracs up to the top mounting hole if they arent allready and run your rear shocks @ 9 to get rid of that hop .

your front is staying down pretty good but i would still kick the fronts up to 9 as well . i would make baby changes each time out to see if it moves you forward or backwards .
the rear end hopping is from not enough valving in the shock , while a stiffer spring can achieve the same as a stiffer shock you will still need a stiffer shock to handle the extra energy release from the stiffer spring so i would start with maxing your shocks out and see if its enough .

if you get rid of the bounce you may be able to launch a touch harder .....
