A stock truck can spin:
2 tires, one front, one rear.
4 tires.
It won't spin 3 tires, one tire, or 2 tires on the same end of the truck. This is because the T-Case has no "slip", like a diff does.
So getting the same traction front to rear is important. That's why I run less pressure in the rears than the front. If my front tires weighed 2000lb and rears weighed 1500lb, I'd run 30 front, and 22.5 rear (same as weight ratio) to try and equalize traction.
The Throttle Base table is very powerful when it comes to launching. You can make very fine adjustments to maximum power output in the staging RPM areas.
You can also opt for some form of launch control. I haven't yet, but DSP5 has it, and you can make it with a DSP2 tune using a Hobbs switch (boost), window switch (RPM), or brake switch to control launch power.
As you go up in power, you'll notice the problems will occur not on the start line anymore, but as it goes into 2nd or 3rd, as first gear doesn't load the engine much. The only thing I've found that will fix that is more tire.
