Im a bit stumped on this one. the head gaskets were replaced before last winter and drove fine no issues... when the nice weather started this year I parked my truck for a month and started driving my car... so the other day I needed to use my truck. it starts fine and drives fine.. but oil psi is at 50 at idle and 75 under normal driving..
my first thought was the cluster might be messed up.... checked it with efi.. and its reading the same... drove to the shop and popped the oil fill cap and yup blow by... I am going to do a compression test today and try to cut out injectors to see if there is any change at idle... truck drives fine... I have been working on my other truck, its like this one gets jealous and wants attention too.. I'm hoping its not a bad piston.. is there anything I might be over looking?

Do you have PCV rerouted? Check and make sure nothing's plugging the vent hose. Maybe some critter has made a nest in the tube while your truck was parked?

ran some marvel mystery oil in the crank case for about 50 miles, changed oil and sensor, when I removed the sensor nasty slug came out... oil pressure is back to normal
