GM Parts Direct has a new headliner listed at $8xx.00 i can't remember... My front windshield is cracked so it would be a good idea to knock it out. Is $8xx.00 what i should expect to pay?

I reupholstered my headliner. It’s not that difficult and mine turned out okay. It would have turned out great had I slowed down, read the directions, and maybe watched a YouTube vid first. If I did another it would probably come out looking like factory. The prep work was a real pain in the ass, but it’s key to get the best results. You can do the whole job for less than $150.

It’s pretty easy to do. Longest process is the prep of course. Wire wheel to it makes it easier. I think total for me was like $100. Little under maybe.

Damn, those really went up. They were in the 4-500 range before the strike and the last time I looked.

It's only about $50 retail worth of fabric material and whatever the glue cost to recover it.

The OEM Headliner is Shale with a 1/8 foam backing.

I paid $300 for a local shop to do mine. If I had to do it again I would skip the fabric and just rubberize it instead

Yeah I’d have to check. My co worker just did his in his LBZ and it was $490 for crew cab. Factory headliner. But that was employee price. But I’ve notice that gm parts direct and gm parts giant usually list most stuff at 10% over cost and that’s all we get.

Watch out for their shipping though. That's where they get you
