Could someone please measure from the nose to the center of the rear axle on a shortbed crew cab?

I am in PA. with my dually bringing the trailer back to FL. so that in the spring I can bring back my LB7, I want to bring my 4 seater mule back to FL. with me, but I want to make sure I can fit it all for the ride back to PA.

Thanks!

16'

Thanks guys!

Damn. Looks like I am 2.5' short. The Mule is 124.8" (10.5') + 16' My trailer is 24' flat and 4' dove......looks like it may be time to trade on a 32' Anderson (pierced frame, w/ spread).

Won't fit in the bed, too long for a short bed  10.5' is 2 feet to wide sideways.....but I know that the bed comes off with only 2 bolts. So in the morning am I going to measure to the rear of the frame on the mule. I think it will fit that way, barely.

could put ramps up the gooseneck so that the mule sits at angle on the ramps and therefore doesn't take up as much trailer bed, then have enough room for the truck.

Just a though.

Pat, it's not the trailer in the picture, but close. It is a gooseneck, just 4' longer than the picture.

Mitch, I had thought of that, just don't have anything to make up some ramps that long, I have been wanting a new trailer anyways...this is just motivation

no sense in talking you out of doing the only "logical man thing" - buying a bigger trailer. That'd be like a cock-block or something. :D

You could just go buy a couple 2x10x10' and go the route I mentioned though if you wanted to.

I will let you know, not sure what it is worth. 28' Kaufman, Dexter axles 26K GVW, 24' flat, 4' cleated dove. Good condition, surface rust in places, good tires (not all matching treads) I think it is a 2002.

Yeah, I bought the buggy here in PA. in the summer for a buddy in Florida. We cruise it every now and again....pretty cool...what's funny you can pull up in a parking lot with it and get more looks/comments than a Lamborghini (happened one time with my buddy and I)

Electric brakes. Every light works, and the wiring has been taken care of. New turn/stop LED's in the middle, LED's for stop/turn on the rear also. I bought it new, have title in hand.

13 ton might be a little much for what i need wayne, it looks smaller in your avatar. i need a non-dually axle more in the range of a 6 ton. that is one big trailer though
