NE dragway makeover

If you didn't know NE dragway switched from IHRA to NHRA for next year, they had to do some changes to meet NHRA requirements. The remaining asphalt past the 1/8th mile was removed & concrete has been poured, which should make it faster.

The only problem with the changeover is going to be the rules now. They'll be following the NHRA rules now and probably won't be as easy going.

I don't think it will be any tougher than before.
Last weekend I was at a NHRA track & they didn't check anything, just handed the tech guy the paperwork & that was it.

I know after talking to one of the guys from NHRDA they are making some changes to the 2011 schedule and wonder if they will move or add a race to NED

That would be sweet if they had a race there this coming year. They would need a good showing to keep the race there the next year, I have a feeling that the Lebanon valley race is going to get axed.
