Just picked up a turbo from a friend he said it was off a duramax what am I working with here?

All I can tell is that it's a VGT from an LLY to present duramax.

I picked it up for $100 bucks thought it was a good price and really have no use for it, how much do they go for? Could I make anything off it. There is really no shaft play and looks like it doesn't have to many miles on it.

Not familiar with Brayden? Say I were to put it on Craigslist what would be a good start price, I have my own project (Talon TSi) I'm working on and need some aluminum welded....

I appreciate the help though, I'd use the turbo but it would never work with my car.

I started the idea of using a Holset on a Subaru... worked well... so another guy on that board went a step further and took a VGT from a 6.7 and managed to get it working on his Subaru. I believe he used a wastegate actuator to control the veins.. not very high tech but it does work..

I saw another guy do the same thing on an EVO/DSM board... around 8 psi it started opening up the vanes as boost built. There has been a few others do this as well... pretty cool to see people working with it!! Especially since you can buy the 351ve's on ebay in good condition all day long for around $200

Thanks a lot. Yes I am leaning towards the HX35 with a bolt on Mitsu turbine housing, I have heard great things about the spool up time and durability of them and considering I only have a 2.0 engine to work with. I think its a good choose for the money.
