Went to get rid of the un needed parts in the dash (heater, A/C, Radio) in the new truck, and look what I found. Almost every wire in the colum was cut, and the connector was dis connected. What are these wires? Looks like i need a new colum now, since the shifter and blinker were cooked.

Pink = Ignition
Orange = Accy - heater
Brown = accy 2= radio
Yellow = starter
Red = Power 1
Red/white= power 2
White = Ign 2 - trans

It also looks like it had a remote starter tapped in and later cut out. I believe it was a DEI product.

What do I win?

If anyone's gonna know what the column wiring is, its Tony. Among other things, he installs Astrostart remote starters.....

Looks like that hack job caused some major electrical shorts.

It should. I cant remember if the SWControls needed another harness at the dash or not. The wiring on the 06/07 classics should be exactly the same.
