Getting ready for a local track day and I'm again wanting to hit an 11. To help this happen Ive ordered 4 drag radials from M&H, a BT dieselworks lock up box and loaded my max effort tune from Duramaxtuner.
Stock injectors & cp3 hold 23k rail and clear up MOST of the smoke. Bringing up boost it smokes like a freight train but at WOT its almost all burned up.
I ran 12.20 at 110 fuel only, no lock up no drag radials. I'm going to try and hit 11.xx fuel only but if it doesn't happen I would want to spray it a little bit to get it there. I have a buddy willing to loan a .125 noid -4 line and whatever jet I need to feel comfortable. Ill probably use .040-.055 jets.
Should I bolt it up and possibly use it as a fail safe in case I don't get the 11 fuel only? I'm just not sure if it will be a waste of time with my current fueling situation and having a TON of air already from my twins. Id rather not go through all the hassle of installing/attempting all of this if someone else has already been there.
