Went to englishtown yesterday. Had a great time. I got a little fast then my previous best of 13.1 @ 103. I left my tailgate at home, lowered my bars most of the way down, and lower my tire pressure to 30 front and 25 rear.

Got some decent 60's of 1.88's and 1.83's. Ran a best of 13.055 @ 103.7 and 13.09 @ 104.1. I got somewhat decent at the tree but launched really violent. Kieran thinks I need to either clamp my springs or get traction bars, and after reviewing my vids I def agree! Looks real bad! I also need brace real bad to, I think that might have something to do with the violent wheel shake during launch.
Heres some vid's

Thanks for posting the vids. Those are some good runs from everyone. Now if I could only fix the hop that I still have from the front.

The Still Master
Nice Runs,

I watched some old runs of my truck I had on the pc, with an SD center link/sleeves, Rancho 9000's set on 9 in the back and 6 in the front, clamped springs front and rear and proper tire pressure for the conditions I could get some decent launches in the low 1.7/60 ft.

What I find is if you spin the tires hard on the launch you get a short shift on the 1-2 and it kills you on the big end.

If you are heading down to the track again Kris I have some stuff you can borrow for suspension help.

;)

Thanks everyone I might take you up on the suspension parts Tony. I need to get the front worked out the most. The wheel goes wild and I have to muscle it straight for a second or to. Braces in order maybe? Smaller tires?? The vids tell me I was spinning on the first gear and chirping second so you are right, it could kill me on the top end. I will give you a call tomorrow, I have a few questions for you.

I realized yesterday that most of my launches are 25psi @2500. I think tire pressure had alot to do with me spinning bad on the last three passes. The colder it got the more i spun.

Cant you heat up drag radials Kieran? If so, maybe heating up the rears a little may have helped you, at least rear tire traction? 25psi is a lot of boost though man! I know I wasnt even close to that and was spinning as well so I can only imagine your launches. If you were spinning that bad, then you are right, its got more in her. Are there any more events between now and the end of the year there??

the sd centerlink makes a hell of a difference in launching and rear spring clamps help alot:thumb:
