Needs another coat or 2 of paint (after I finish painting it haha) and then I need to take off the parts that got paint on them and paint them a different color or polish them. The thing is rugged at can be and will spin super slow and has some really slow feed rates. Should be great for turning hard material and makes a super nice finish cut with the feed nowhere close to as slow as it will go.:D Need to get a 10 inch chuck for it too. The 7" thats on it is going to get some Al jaws for cutting and delipping my pistons.

very cool Paul!

how old is it? Did you find it on craigs list or something? Roughly how much does one of those go for? Is it 3 phase?

Got it from my friend that builds headers for a living. $500 but its worth a few grand cleaned up. Single phase 5 running hp motor. not a 5 peak hp motor like most stuff. The motor is the size of you chest and about 5 years old. The lathe is about 70 years old. Prentice Bros 14" X 40"

The quick change tool post set sells for $400 alone.
