the turbo ta's are so bad ass they were the only pace cars that didn't need modifications

T-Type looks like my buddy's. I think it's been sitting for a few years and he just starts it a few times a year. Those cars are cool and can be very quick with little mods. Nice collection!

I remember that car. It ran low low 11's on a stock long block.

here are the mods done to my cars

Grand National
stock bottom end, dump tube ,comp cam (212/212) , roller lifters,solid rocker shafts, dbb6262, ported polished stock heads with 1.71 intake,1.50 exhaust, ARP head bolts, stock replacement head gaskets,60lb injectors, mass air conversion (LS1),front mount intercooler, 3' down pipe, 340 walbro with hot wire kit, built trans, eibach lowering springs
37,000 original miles, (time with te-44 turbo)11.76 @118 24 psi , on Mickey Thompson drag radials, 93 octane and 112 octane race gas.

1989 TTA #479
pe-52 turbo, stock bottom end, stock ported heads, 42 lbs injectors, 40,000 miles , 11.60 @ 115 mph on 20 psi, 1.60 60 ft on on Mickey Thompson drag radials,93 octane and 112 octane race gas.

Impressive times. I had a 87 Grand National for awhile and I miss it. Mine had 21,000 miles on it when I sold it.

Man you won't find many with low miles like that. I had a black and silver t type back in the day. Very fun cars. You have a nice collection for sure. Jeff

i recently purchased a new turbo and hopefully it'll go 10's this year on a stock bottom end if i dont run out of fuel , just have to make sure the fuel pumps can keep up and the car doesn't starve, we'll see.....

The te-52's were the latest thing when I sold mine. What's the latest turbo out now? Man, I sold mine 8 years ago, I bet a bunch has changed.
