Hey Guys Newb Here aside from lurking and finding info on repairs figured its about time I joined.. Having some problems with my LLY and of coarse im overseas and have the ol Lady driving it back home but thankfully some of the issues are older.

To start out my Tranny keeps going into limp more and more often happened the first time when I was on the on ramp and stabbed into it than has happened a few times since to me but has been happening a lot more lately with the ol lady driving it. Was thinking about getting it rebuilt but also thinking about getting a Suncoast?

Second issue is it is surging when at a redlight and rough idle at park I got the p1093 code a few times but haven't been able to check it lately I will try and walk the wife through it over the phone o have her take it to autozone. I am thinking about installing ther FASS Titanium 150 gph replacing the FPR, aluminum bleeder screw and deleting the Water sensor ive replaced it twice it keeps cracking for some reason. any thoughts on all this? thanks in advance.

Welcome... Suncoast is def a good way to go on Trans or send it to mike L or Evan at limitless.. You can delete the factory filter completely after you get the FASS but if it's a daily driver I'd leave it for more filtration to b on safe side but if u keep having troubles out of it then it's def an option.

Rough idle could be the injector harness's, may need to be ice picked or have the pigtails replaced 2 & 7 are the problem ones but all can act up.. Could ck the alternator bracket that has the FICM harness zip tied to it, they like to rub through and short out there. Surging could be the Torque Converter if it's happening when you come to a stop or if it surges all the time probably a bad FPR on the cp3.

Seeing that your in FL. I would go with Suncoast or Shane Phinney for the trans. pretty sure Shane uses Suncoast parts.

Ok guys ill give shane a call. I planned on doin the ice pick trick and checking the FICM wire when I was in there doing the FPR kind of knock it all out at once.

Shane can also hook u up with tunes.. Very easy to get a hold of n work with! when u have him do Trans just let him work his magic. He's good at what he does. Mark at Danville is also great to work with n good customer service..

Not sure on autocal stuff Bc I've never had or used one of those. I'm sure someone on here will know more about that but if I were guessing I'd say no.. I'm pretty sure ATP locks there tunes so u would have to return ur truck to stock n get Shane ur Vin to build ur tunes but if u don't have a V2 to load them then you would have to send ur ECM to Shane. If ur happy with Robs tunes then u can just contact ATP and have them adjust ur tuning for ur upgrades.

Other than it looking good does swapping out the Y bridge and hot cold pipes help out any with stock turbo? also is a Batmo wheel a decent upgrade to the stock turbo or should I just keep an eye out for a larger turbo?

I think you should focus on a built trans before worrying about the y bridge and hot / cold side pipes IMO but I dont really know.

Also, I have heard other forum members say that its best to just save for a bigger/better turbo instead of a batmo wheel.

Shane will recommend the S366 most likely and a kit from HSP
