One of my friends got his 08 LMM last March or April, a Sierra. When I got my Silverado a month ago and we met up last weekend, he was jealous. He loves the hood vents and Duramax/Allison badges. I hadn`t even paid enough attention to the newest series enough to realize the Sierra`s didn`t have them. Well, he`ll only have to live with that for a couple more years....after 10 months he`s already put over 100K on his, and figures he`ll roll it out at around 350K or so.

I've had friends that always buy chev's. They have switched over to the GMC's simply on looks. I would buy a new GMC myself. my .02.........
mee too the chevys from a distance could be a 6.0 or a 6.6 they both have the badge so if you cant read it or see the exhaust you dont know, the gmc's ether dont have a badge which means gas or do have one which means diesel... and the chevy bumper

i bought a chevy for the reason gmc was more money for the same truck i mean identical. i could not see spending two to three thousand dollars more for the same truck an thats after talking them down.
Thats why I bought a Classic Chevy, My dealer found that thing on line for me while I was over here. It was a 1 1/2 year old new truck just sittin at a dealer in NJ. Didn't have all the options I wanted but the price was right and it didn't have elephant ears on it's front bumper.

No...he doesn`t. He hauls travel trailers from the assembly plants in northern Indiana to dealer destinations all over the US. But, he does have a couple of guys who make a few of the trips for him. He says it`s pretty good money...although the down economy has had a negative impact in the number of hauls he makes. His dad does this too and he`s been off the road more the last few months than he`s been on.
I have the Chrome Louvers on my Chevy. That is the only reason I went with the chevy instead of the GMC. If you had to leave them just black I would have bought GMC.
