just picked up this peach yesterday. it's a 1952 plymouth cranbrook. contrary to the looks it runs and drives great. it's got a 230 flat head 6 and is still 6v. all the gauges work and all the glass is perfect. needs a little TLC but i'll take care of the old girl.

oh yea i stole it for $300 bucks

well this one is going to be for my girlfriend. as soon as she saw it she fell in love. she loves the rusty look lol. but i would like to paint it a flat blue w/ some cream colored pinstriping and some wide whites of course. then for the interior i was thinking some...

A friend of mine's dad restored a '53 Plymouth Belvedere when we were in high school. It was the same color as yours with the flat-head 6. I want to say it had some crazy transmission if I remember, like a semi-automatic or one of chrysler's crazy ideas.

After it was completed it was the perfect cruiser. Congrats on the purchase and enjoy.

thanks guys. beech if it's in the tri state area it's local for me ha. just gotta broaden your searching radius lol.

thanks guys. i'm going to try and pop some of the dents out this weekend. if i can get the door out good enough i'll leave the patina.

my buddy took it out for a drive yesterday and said that it's pulling real hard to the left so i'll have to look at that too. he did say it shifted nice and smooth though so that's a plus.

yea it's a 3sp w/ auto overdrive, yet it's only got 2 shiftable gears

i did manage to fix a few things. i worked out a few of the major dents, pulled the driver rocker out from looking like a >, put a "new" exhaust on, fixed the bent ass steering arm that was jacked up by a forklift or something, damn thing was bent in a 45*.

on her way to the shop

ha yea.

i fixed the floor on the pass side yesterday. so i'm going to get cracking on the driver side tomorrow. came out much better than i expected and i'm very happy to see that there isn't a bunch more rust under the rear floor mat.

i did screw around with the interior last night for a while and i think it came out much better than expected. thankfully the material i got was nice and heavy and streched real nice. only one door left too and i ran out of staples :(. i still need to make front kick panels, b pillars and do the headliner which actually just came in today. then figure out something for the seats.

out with the old...
