muffler inspection and emmissions question

So I bought my truck a wile back and it came with a 5" turbo back with a muffler. But I wanted to get a muffler delete pipe but didn't kno if I would run into problems with ispection and emmisions. I live in the salt lake valley in utah or you live in a area with this same laws. anybody that has ever run into problems please let me kno what you did or how I can do this..

I run no muffler and have never had a problem. But I would keep your muffler just in case you did or if your worried about it just put the muffler on for the inspection and then take it back off. I might just be lucky or the places I go are just to lazy to get on there knees and back to look for it.
