MPI feedback

I'm considering twins and just wandering if there is any reason not to do it.
If there is anything I'm unaware of please pm me as I'm certainly not wanting a bashing session. I have heard lots of good things. I guess I'm kinda nervous as this is my daily driver. I just want a fun truck no drag strip or sled pulling.

Not sure who told you there was bashing going on in turbo threads here, but if there is, it's rare.

MPI makes a good product that gets good reviews from the owners. The only complaint I've heard of has to do with delivery times, but I think that has been fixed.

They fit perfect, look great and work as needed. I have the towing kit, and dont have one complaint. Nathan has great customer support. You will not be disapointed. Rob (IdahoRob) also makes some great tunes for the twins, and has excelent customer support as well.

What engine mods besides head studs should be done to get max efficency?

If you are going to leave the torque at 1250ftlb or under, just head studs, and only if you're going to set the boost up past 45psi, IMO. Problem with LB7's, is that many have weaker head gaskets from the factory, so you should play it safe. If you're going to set it for kill, you will need rods.

I'm not sure of the status of the LB7 kit, I'd call MPI to confirm.

I have heard good things about Nathans kits, I have only one complaint he does not make a kit to work with my 4094 lol

I have a set on a lb7 I am on the fence if I like them. I drove a truck that had a vvt charger (04.5 and newer)with the mpi kit and I thought it was great. The wastegate adjusting has always been a issue on mine.

In all honesty, the original poster didn't even look at the page before asking. The MPI Thread was right there near the top. Putting it up as a sticky won't help if they don't look at all.

Yeah I didn't really mean a sticky. I just meant that everytime this asked, the answer is the same.
