this may be a long shot but does anyone make a motor plate like some drag cars have that mount between engine and trans and/or the ones that bolt to the front of the engine and act as motor mounts?

not sure if thats what im after it gets sandwiched between the engine and trans and mounts to the frame is what i need
We have a mid plate in the Nova between the glide and Dmax. You can get them from about any race parts place, it's nothing Dmax specific. Most are 1/4", so you will need to get that taken care of as far as converter spacing.
It replaces motor mounts and mounts the engine solid it is for my s10 repower not a full size truck
got to thinking about a motor plate for the front of the engine it will be a strictly race truck but could i use the front cover bolts to attach it either in front of the front cover or in between block and front cover using a gasket on each side...just trying to get some ideas to as if it would work or what else i could do

That's what I'll be doing all weekend. I've got the GT42/45 mounted in front, but need to plumb the rest to the two 475's.
i started but ran out of tubbing and its a tight fit in the s10 had to mount the 475 side ways to fit http://www.duramaxdiesels.com/forum/showthread.php?t=32455
Nice! I had the GT sideways at first, but changed it to forward facing. It would be clean having the outlet right to the A/W IC, but made a plumbing mess getting to and from the 475's in each fender.
