Motor build???

I have a few questions. Im lookin to build a motor for my 07 classic duramax. Which block do i need? Can i use any dmax block? Or do i need to keep my eyes out for a lbz or lmm block? Im wanting to build it for twins, dual pumps, 60-80over injectors. I have a chance to buy a lb7 block with pistons and wondering if it will work for me. Thanks.

You'll be best off with an lbz/lmm block. As long as it has fan shroud mounting lugs you should be alright. I believe all Gens have the lugs except 01-02s.
