im looking to build a motor something is wrong with mine i have a 2006 LBZ i found quite a few crashed LLY and LMMs will all my componets work on those blocks with out problem? just wannt double check everything. thanks guys

well just need to put a running motor in the truck right now so i can drive it again but iv got 4094 turbo 45% injectors head studs and air dog goin on for now and then ill have my other motor to play with once i figure out whats wrong with it

What's the engine you have now doing that makes you want to replace it?

BLew the head gasket so I had the heads decked and did new gasket with studs and It's still leaking in the same spot I blew it before just now in also gettin a lot me fluid comin out the exhaust weather it be oil orcoolant

An 05 LLY will not work. A 06 LLY is a direct fit as well as an 07classic. 07 thru 2010 LMM long block will work.

If is leaking coolant toward the rear of the head it may just be the block plate on the rear cover.

No its not that and tony what your sayin is I can use the 06 lly block and put all my stuff on It and or I can use a lmm block and heads and put the rest of my stuff on it?

Not to speak for Tony, but if it's a 2006 LLY (looks just like your LBZ) you can just install it without having to swap heads or anything. An LMM long block will work with your LBZ stuff bolted to it.

Yeah cause I found a lot of lly's I would just be using the block still any way off it but just wanted to be sure before I purchase it that it'll all work ya no

An 04.5 - 05 LLY block is not going to work. 06 LLY/LBZ-07 LBZ classic is a direct fit. 07-2010 LMM long block will work with all your top end parts.

Yeah that's the new style bolt now I questioned the guy at the dealer but he was right that's what they changed to and the blue idea came from my race bike figured it would look good in the truck to i think it came out pretty nice truck rips thanks to a lot of people on here for parts and Trent for the turbo and accessories and rob for his tuning thanks guys!!
