Quick hypothetical question. If I put used 60% over injectors in my truck with nothing else being done to it, would that cause it to lose rail pressure while driving? My pump is brand new, my fuel filter head is also brand new. fuel filter life goes from 100% to 0% in 10 seconds. I got used injectors from a friend that had a motor with a broken crank and I think they are modified.

If you are already losing rail then it will still happen with bigger injectors. You need a lift pump. As far as running the injectors go, you would need new tunes to run them

Just saw in your sig you have a lift pump. If you are still losing rail you have a leak somewhere

Well if you have a cp3 conversion it could be in the tune actually.. I know mine would lose rail pressure REALLY bad when I first switched to Tony from a different tuner.. I think it has to do with the regulator and how they have it set or not set for the cp3? I don't understand it all but I just know how it worked on my truck when I switched tuners.. Had less power and losed rail pressure really bad.. It was all in the tune..

Not saying that's your problem but I would look into that along with actually what the injectors have done to them..

I think I misunderstood the OP, are the possibly modified injectors in the truck already? If so, If your tuning isn't set up for bigger injectors That could def cause loss of rail
