OK, what is the difference between the air dog filter supplier and the ppe supplier pump and what is the ppe fuel line kit for? What is the most cost-effective way to add more fuel?

your talking about a lift pump . its a pump that helps push fuel to the cp3 high pressure pump and keeps it from losing rail pressure when you add more fuel in a tune .

the ppe is more "affordable" but the Airdog is the best and last pump you will ever put on the truck. not to mention you can see an extra 15-20 hp and 1-2 mpg increase with it over the PPE pump.

the PPE only comes with a pump, no lines, filters, fittings or instructions. the AD is a 100% complete kit.

I can guarantee that statement is very incorrect... the only thing different about the air dog is it is supposed end cavitation .... and that isn't even proven plenty of trucks have made big power with the PPE pump.

In my opinion the air dog is a better option because it is complete with instructions and you shouldnt have to buy any extras . i have been told by a very reputable person its what he recommends . but best idea is for you to do some research on lift pumps and talk to some guys who have tried the different ones . if you wanna ask questions talk to diesel addiction they are a vendor here

i have the ppe pump and i like it. but the only down side to it is that it's LOUD!!! but i also like the fact that it's loud because you know it's working! and yes you do need some fittings hoses and wire!

I like the air dog for the second filter super quiet super easy to mount and a complete kit. ppe about 280-$300 once u buy fittings switch relay and fuel line. air dogs around $4-$450 and is complete. the air dog does seem to be alot more reliable with less failures. and has a life time warranty.

I like my airdog though I have not run anything else. Filtration is an added benefit, I think mine is either a 2 or 3 micron filter as opposed to the 15 micron filter that is mounted at the engine. Another option is a lift pump like the ppe or other standalone pump and you can add the nictane filter setup to it. That is what my dad has run on his last 2 trucks and has been happy. It uses some large CAT filters if I remember correctly and they can be as fine as 1 micron or something like that. If factoring in filtration, airdog is the cheaper easier option IMO.
