For me, the manual tap-shift is just as important on doing the 5=spd to 6-spd conversion. Any chance of that feature coming with this stuff???

I have a friend using the PCS stuff for his Ford CR/Allison conversion. It looks to be promising.

Diggin this up.... would it be better to use this than factory parts When going from manual to auto? What do you use for a shifter and how do you know what gear your in?

its a allison 3rd gen TCM like any other dmax TCM.

you cna tune it just the same.

Scott @ destroked is making one (that I think is actually on his Ford/Cummins/Allison that's on the cover of September's Diesel Power) that uses a 4th Gen, and he says the tap-shift does work, although to see the selected range, you'd probably need a 06+ cluster. The 05- clusters don't know what to do with the range slelect message and you just get a blank DIC.
