well, what I have is a modified ATS pump. I have no idea what they do tho them. They no longer sell them and I can't get anything out of them as to what they did to it. It is claimed to flow some 30% more than stock.
It has an LBZ regulator on it. I'm undecided on whether or not I'm going to run it or not. It also has their old "triple feed" line setup for it. I am going to give that a whirl. According to them, with the extra feed lines, it should flow as much as 45% over stock pump. In their original triple feed configuration, they use a kicker pump. It's basically just a really high pressure FASS pump that comes on via a hobbs switch and X-boost. I'm gonna try to use a mitusa at high pressure instead of the kicker pump.
I'm going to be opening up the gear housing and see if it's been ported like Relentless says to do and if not, I'll be doing that.
I'll probably try the LBZ reg. first and if that's not satisfactory, I'll be going to a modded LB7 regulator. If I still can't get it on my own. SD will be on order.
That's the setup I am going to try initially. If that isn't enough to fuel my 2.5 charger, I'll find something else. I like John at FloorIt and have seen first hand (as have any others that have pulled agains Wes Wade from KY in his CR Dodge) that they can produce serious power in this class. HOWEVER, a friend of mine has an II Stage 2 that we'll be trying this year and will let you know good or bad how it does in this class with a healthy engine and charger setup.
Final thought. II is supposed to revist the CP3 in a couple months and will really be coming out with an extreme CP3.3 I'm really curious to see what they can get of a CP3.3 with a billet housing.
Hopefully they get to this sooner than later.
