I have had one for two years.
In fact I can't remember the last time I flashed my ECM, I just make changes on the fly..............

The learning curve is what i'm after. I'm working on getting one. I hate working overtime, but as long as i have a goal.... Sounds like more fun than logging, reviewing and making adjustments.

I have been spoiled by the Road Runner.
If I am driving around and want to make a change I can pull over, open the laptop, connect to the RR-ECm via high speed USB and full flash teh ecm in 12 second..........
I can change fueling, timing, fuel pressure, regulator amps, regulator duty cycle, pilot timing, quantity, idle rpm, anything I want by selecting the cells and hitting the enter key.
When dynoing at sometimes $150-$180 per hour I make instant changes between 1 minute cool down, no shutting down the truck, flashing the ecm, restarting the truck, wasting valuable dyno time.
If you buy one I will be here and available to help anyone with any questions once you set up the Road Runner.
Thanks in advance. I dont know if i'll ever get one. I REALY like the idea of one, but i may wind up getting a junkyard pcm and doing their kit.
I have wanted one since they first came out! I think it is one of the best tools you could have..IMO
EFI has added and worked with Moates to even make it better since they first came out
Only reason i didnt get one before is they never where made for the LLY or newerSo i bought a LB7:rofl:
I can tell you this though if you even think you want one order now!
Craig is near impossible to get a hold of! and they told me they where short of spare ECMS so you will need to send one to them....and my ECM was locked so they didnt want to use this and sent it back

I ended up reading the tune to make sure it was actually flashed

Yeah, it definately is nice for that. I missed it last night at the pull when we flashed the ECM and went to check to make sure it went in right and everything I sucked it back off. (wow, that's really opened up for some seriously bad interpretation and twisting :hehe: ) TCM was selected instead of the ECM though and that takes like 3 min+ to read it. Then I realized what I did and had to do it all again for the ECM which does read faster than the TCM but still, that's 10-min I can't get back. Whereas with the RoadRunner, it would have been 3 min tops. So yeah, I really do miss that part of it.
Crazy thing though, running the exact same tune as was in the Road Runner in a reg. ECM last night and the truck ran soooo much different and in a good way. I guess this particular Road Runner is just simply screwed up.
