I have a "mature" co-worker that is looking to get an upgrade for a little more power out of his 06 LBZ I believe. He pulls a 12 000lb holiday trailer and fishing boat once in awhile through the Rocky Mountains. I would tune him with EFI but he lives 4hrs away and travels out of the country quite often.

What are your honest answers as to which tuner to set him up with. Obviously PPE would be the one I would choose but remember, he will never be racing and he is a cheap old coot and doesn't want to spend $700 on a tuner that he only uses for 100hp and less. He also wants switch on the fly tuning ability.

Your thoughts guys and gals would be appreciated.

Van AAken went tits up didn't they??
And that is not an option-the old coot wants simple for an economical price!!
And Edge would be the way to go if he wanted to drill holes in his truck.:D

After talking to him I guess switch on the fly isn't super important. Plug and play is what he is after as a second option.
