Missing LB7

I was pulling my 5th wheel trailer with my Edge on Tow mode. I held it to the floor to pass and it kicked down to 4th. When it gets close to red line it feels likes it starts missing and jerking. Let off and goes to 5th and runs fine tried again and did the same. The third time it went to 4th and ran fine. What can be the problem? It didn't throw a code

Didn't throw a cel or a code? Fuel filter change or injectors recently?

it is probably related to rail pressure, a fresh fuel filter may help but you may need a lift pump to support the edge.

Send the edge back to have it reflashed, its the issue with the missing

I had the same problem also. Get rid of it and got with the real deal "EFI LIVE".

just for kicks clean your Mass Air Flow Sensor too.

I cleaned my mass air flow for shits and giggles once because I thought it might make a difference. It was fairly dirty, and even with logging there was nothing noticeable and no change of data whatsoever.

I'm wondering if anyone has actually logged a dirty maf versus clean one?

I also run an oiled AFE filter... so I guess I'm lucky I don't have problems.

My vote is still 100% for the edge. Mine used to do it real bad in stage 5 and slightly in stage 3. Stage 4 was good though so thats where it spent most of its time. That thing was garbage otherwise though. I did like the sound the motor made with it on there though... like a ripping noise. Probably because of 40° of timing
