Recently tagged the right power camper mirror (accordian style) on my CCSB. Luckily it only got the plastic. Everything else seems to work. Problem is, it appears that nobody sells just the housing. And a replacement mirror assembly is $$$.

I've never really liked these mirrors too much. They seem to have a fairly large blind spot on both sides. I have noticed that quite a few guys replace these with "Towing mirrors". Is there just one kind of towing mirror that replaces the power camper mirrors? Are they a direct fit? Any insight from others who have swapped towing mirrors would be appreciated.

BTW - anyone want a mint drivers side mirror :)

I bought some Kool Vue Tow mirrors on Ebay and they are great. A little different from OEM, but you have to know what you are looking for to notice. My truck came with the factory accordian style. These vertical mirrors are way better and have a much smaller blind spot. Plus they look a lot better on the truck.

the bigger tow mirrors are one of the best mods I have done, buy them on ebay or direct from kool vue, way cheaper than factory.

Did some more searching / reading last night. It appears that the 03-07 mirrors are all the same ????

Saw a post where someone was retro fitting a set to a 99 HD (involved some pin swapping / plug changes). These were labeled as 2006 electric, heated, turn LED mirrors. PN 15860540 (left), 15860541 (right). Are these similar to the kool vue ones?

Believe the main difference in these towing mirrors is whether or not they have the turn signal LED, and/or if the telescope out or not (manually telescope, not electrically)???
