My uncle has an 03 Chevy with OnStar. About 6 months ago, the temp and compass started getting out of whack with callibration. Then it started to intermittently shut off completely. The power button would turn on and off, but no display. It has OnStar and that still works fine.
The display has now not come on in about a month or so, but the light with the power button will still show green as on, and then shut off after holding the button down a few seconds.
Anyone have any ideas on what to check? Would the LED that lights is be bad, I doubt this as it cant come on and go off a few times over some weeks and be a LED, once those are out, they are out.
