I didn't know where else to post this...my mileage calculator recently told me I only have 267 miles to empty when I filled the tank (23.5 gallons)...usually it tells me around 400 +/-, depending on how low I run it before filling up. Any ideas why it is telling me such a low number? My oil life is at 17% so its about ready to be changed..

I think it bases your miles to empty on some time frame of recent average mpg, so if you've been doing a lot of recent in-town driving it will calc your predicted miles to empty on that number. I have seen mine actually increase when I start out on a highway trip after I've been driving around town for a while.
What truck? They are known to be pretty inaccurate. Mine worked great for a year or so then it started being off and tuning makes it worse. You haven't tuned your truck lately have you?
04 LLY...has Edge w tude...but I keep the power down...it amounts to basically losing a ton of fuel economy all of a sudden...no codes, no apparent loss in performance. I manually calculated the mileage andit was just as the computer said it would be, so its not inaccurate. Gonna be checking the oil for injector leaks...but again, there's no codes.
So you have verified that you are getting poor mileage by hand?
I don't get what your issues is now. Are you getting poor mileage or is your computer just telling you can only drive half as far as you can and everything is working as it should?
