Mods in Sig, I'd like to get into the 12's. Stock injectors and stock cp3, I'm hoping to get to the track in the coming weeks:D do you high altitude racers think its enough? Or am I being overly optimistic? If not what do you guys think I'll need in addition?

At Bandimere I ran a 12.98 with a smoked 66mm single and no lift pump cutting 1.77 60ft. If Wade Boyd has your fueling maxed out I bet you'll go faster than you think :thumb:

I ran 12.2s and 12.3s all day in Albuquerque (mile high) the past two years with s475/stock and 40 overs on stock cp3. DA was terrible too. Drop weight and you'll be in the 12s easily.

The first day I ever ran at a track the slowest I ran was a 12.6, but I'm about 800ft and have 40's. I would think it's doable if you get the weight down and have a decent 60ft.

i went 12.0 there with the 66/80, stock injectors, single pump.

if tuning is on par you should be able to do at least a 12.5 as long as it isnt during a hot day.

Oh boy, then you are in for a treat. :) Its a lot of fun.

Hell, just go drag Wade out of his shop. He never used to miss a chance to go to the track.

No sir, I've been meaning to for 2 years now. Either work or weather gets me. To be honest Ive also been holding out for another truck to go down with.

Once my Cummins buddy and I get our high pressure chargers swapped we're planning on hitting a Wednesday test and tune night. Be cool if you joined us!

Not really sure yet. Ordered my turbo today so it should be here in a few days. But I still have to get the housing machined for the speed sensor. Not sure what my buddy is doing as he's pretty burnt out after buying another ATS converter that didn't perform at all haha. He may just borrow my nitrous once I get my charger installed. Maybe in a few weeks???

No one is too busy for drag racing!

I've "been sick" from work one too many times. I think the bossman is catching on :D:roflmao:

I went 11's with stock injectors and single stock cp3 and basic twins on a CCSB street truck at elevation. The OP should have no problem getting into the 12's with his mods at any elevation.

60' is everything, so some prep to the truck will help a bunch with achieving your goals.

As far as prep, I plan on dumping as much weight as possible, not sure on tire psi yet. Any pointers you guys might have to cut a good 60 would be appreciated:thumb:

I'm still running the ats trans I bought from you a few years ago, after the last refresh its holding up pretty good...aside from the heat issue lol.

I'm gonna bump this up for some help, 7 passes last night, all were 13.3 - 13.4 @ 101mph:banghead:, they were all 1.8/60 times with about a 0.1 to 0.2 rt. Stock shocks and didn't mess with tire pressure. I'm really pretty surprised I can't get into the 12's. I just added a new fleece modded cp3 and race plug. 4 weeks ago I was running 13.9/14.0/with a bad cp3 and wore out fpr. I don't know if this is a tuning issue or something else. Let me know what you guys think, I'll post upy slips this afternoon when I get home. I don't think I'll be able to data log till next week.
