McRat took Red down for a visit to Mike

Came back with a completely different truck  I can't believe how much it woke him up :fluffy:

He installed a SC 1057 and Transgo Jr.

:hail2: Thanks Mike

That's All???!!

I am sitting on the fence about the tranny work. I mean I can do Jr alone. If I am going to R&R the tranny to do a convertor, I figure might as well get into the guts. (I have help for an R&R and as much build as I want to do lined up).

I am surprised you only did a convertor and Jr.

Or, perhaps I should be encouraged that I can get away with less than I thought?????

Time will tell if we should have gone with the clutches  Pat wants to know the limits of LBZ.

MikeL is close if we need him :D

There's someone on the DP that has over a 100 passes on a 1057, and Transgo Jr set up with respectable power also. Stock cluthches are extremely cheap.:D

I talked to Pat and we both decided to see how far the 6 speed wiil go without major mods. Right now the so called experts are posting how much the '06 will hold but they don't know squat. We have not seen enough failures to honestly say when they will fail. I am not into guessing and neither is Pat. :D

It feels fast. But my butt meter isn't always the best judge  :frog:

We will be going track for sure Sept 24 for the charity event. I don't know if we will make it before then.
