Plenty of reason.
For one he linked me to a dealer, 4 hours away. 2 the local allison dealer is 40 miles away and charges $37 for a spin on, the dealer $39. Mike sells them for $10 and I would rather give him my business. Even after shipping its much cheaper.

They are, supposedly. They were total dicks when I walked in there, wouldnt look up a part number for me, I had to get on my iphone and look it up, etc. Just would rather go through Mike.

Once you do business with Mike, you will go out of your way to buy from him again. It's hard to put a price on tech support, especially when he gives you his cell # to call him at 8:00pm during a trans build.....
I got your address from your profile so I guess you live 4 hours from where you say. Filters at my local dealer are $8 so I think you are a little misguided there also.

Yes. Call me. I sell them for 10.00 plus shipping. I make 2.00 a piece off them. Shipping to you would be about 5.00 for 4 of them. I feel like such a shylock doing this.
OK, I retract my statement about bein mean.
My profile says San Luis Obispo, (edit - it says central coast... not even a city for you to punch in) exactly where I live. Not 7 miles from Santa Ana. about 250. Also didnt know that every dealer is the same price on every part across the country.

I didnt know that his attitude was due to lunching a motor Id probably be pissed off too. I had asked months ago about filters & was told it was easier to get them from a local Allison dealer.
It might be easier but we never go the easy route
I agree with Matt in every way anything transmission related goes to Mike and no one else Mike has also taken very good care of me. Thanks Mike:hug:
