I bought my truck about 14 months ago and I've never been able to run it hard do to funky shifting. I had Mike do a stage III rebuild last winter but it still shifted hard. I upgraded ECM/TCM, did a continuity test on the external harness, replaced the internal harness, ohmed the solenoids and no change. Last week Mike sent me a rebuilt valve body and that solved the problem! I can now do full throttle accelerations without flaring and snapping my head off. Also ordered an EFI with 2 position switch from Trent at EPR. Resetting the TAPS was easy and I can't wait to get the tunes to see how she runs now. Best deal is that the wife is now happy as I can finally tow our travel trailer or ski boat.
If you need tranny work, Mike is the guy. I did a 20hr round trip to get the initial rebuild done and then Mike kept feeding me parts and info until the problem was fixed.
