Got my truck down to the chassis at a buddy's shop. No bed or cab on it. Some idiots last night came and stole the fuel pump out of the tank! Cut the hoses and everything. I think they were trying to steal gas, cuz all the other vehicles sitting out there and gas stolen from them. Guess they didn't know it was a diesel. The rig next to mine had the window broken out and the cd player stolen too. I hate thieves, and if i find them i'll be going to jail i'm afraid.

Sorry for your loss man I can relate to being the victim of theft. Theives should have their hand cut off. Bet they wouldn't ever steal again. Your theives were probably on welfare lmao.

I feel your pain as well. I am kinda OCD about where my stuff sits, and for how long. And even how it sits. I have a Jeep wrangler with a soft top, the doors have never been locked on it, due to the plastic zip down windows, but I installed a lock box made of 1/8 inch steel for my inside belongings. Had someone decide they wanted to get into it, in the middle of winter. I only had the door's and side windows installed, the back windows, and back were not in, and the doors were unlocked, they cut the window out, and stole the rubber cement from a tire plug kit that was under the seat (there were tool marks on my storage locker, they couldn't pry it open.) I try to leave all my things sitting as empty as possible, and install locks where I can.

That guy that cut my window out did $1000 worth of damage (the price at the time for a replacement.) I am not one for confrontation, but that guy or girl is the reason for my CCW.

I'm going to set a trail camera up in the tree behind the truck to see if they come back. One with wireless transmission, just in case they find it! Sneaky sneaky

I set up a trail camera at my shop and got pics of thieves taking steel for scrap metal. Try to put the camera where it may get a pic of a liscence number. No one could identify the bastards I got pics of but a lisence number would have done it.

Around here the big thing is cats. My buddy recently picked up a K2500 suburban for a song, a couple of weeks ago he went to cut the weeds by the fence. He fires up truck and it has open exhaust. Some POS cut/hacked exh and stole cats from suburban and a customers van.
Two weeks later on the news about a medical service had cats stolen from 10 new E-350s. Those guys got caught. they where dumb enough to bring 20 almost new identical cats. and scrap yard turned them in.

3 Years ago i went to the movies with my wife, we were on our way back to the truck and i saw a shadow under it, i thought it was a raccoon or something like that i told my wife to stop and even take a few steps back... i drew my 45, and made a alternate path to my vehicle, at that time i heard i heard three blips from a two way radio and a man dressed in all black flew out from under my truck and just took off like a bat outta hell, the guy left a couple tools behind, the police didnt get any prints, what they didnt know is i had my high flow cats welded in place, and actually so did gm on the stock unit, that guy was lucky he used a look out, i was expecting an animal, if he had jumped out later with out the radio noise to alarm me it was human, i would have shot and probably killed him

Did they just cut it out to get it out of the way? Then threw it to the side somewhere?
