Methanol for biodiesel?

I was going to restart my project for biodiesel but then started to look at methanol prices. Anybody know where to get methanol from cheap? Prices I see are 8-10 a gallon and at that rate it wouldn't even pay to make bio, would come out to $2.00 a gallon and that's not counting the KOH and electricity used.

See if you can find a source for racing methanol near you. Such as a racing or drag strip. Seems to be the cheapest way to get it
