Met with acceleration issues

I am facing acceleration issues with my GM Duramax 6.6 L - LMM engine. I thought it might be due to the dust in air filter. I went to BC diesel and replaced my air filter. But still the problem persists. What are the other options to boost GM diesel performance? Somebody here who have got expertise in GM repair, please help me with your suggestions.

Clean your mass airflow sensor, make sure to only use mass airflow sensor cleaner only. It gets crapp on it and can't meter the air properly, I have guys complain about this all the time with LMM's. They are WAY more sensitive to maf issues than the other years bc of the emissions stuff on them...
