Me VS CJ5

I got a kill story. I was just out doing some donuts in the snow with my CJ5 and it spit a rod through the oil pan:rofl:........It has had a knock for a little bit, but I wasn't about to pull the motor to fix it. I've been looking for a reason to swap a SBC in and so when it started to really knock, I might have pressed the gas down a little further on purpose:spit:.....Oh well shit happens, now I have a few months to get it ready to punish again. My wife says it's gotta go, but I told her that it's a good toy that can stay parked if/when it breaks

I had a 350 in a CJ7 with a t18 trans. It was fun on the street but unpractical in the trails. The 258 is a lot less nose heavy.

360, it had a 401 before that

amc motors don't seem to last too long for me.......the 401 that came in the Jeep blew up last summer, so I swapped a junkyard 360 in so I could make it to Silverlake Sand dunes for a weekend trip we had planned.
