I had a blast this afternoon. Cloud hadn't been there more than 20 minutes before the tornado dropped. Several homes were destroyed or damaged along with a bunch of barns and several irrigation center pivots. My ground ranged from an inch of rain to 2 with a shit ton of hail. Amazingly I can't find any dents in my truck with hail the size of my fist falling for almost 20 minutes.

F that. Been around those a few times and that was more than enough. I still remember flying over AL and MS right after those cut though last year and just seeing where it looked like someone drug fingers across the landscape

We are at the foot of the Rockies. The first few pics it was actually on one of the smaller mountains. It was weird. The clouds were going north east when they started building, then they went straight south when the tornado formed and for its first 10 minutes. Then it turned and headed due east, then back south and then southeastish.

You're right guess I should not be so presumptuous. I'm not sure a tornado has ever touched down where I live. Terrain/landscape not conducive to them forming from what the experts say. Videos are sweet though! I would have been haulin ass the other direction like a little girl! Did anyone else catch the Cummins that drove past in one of the videos? Turbo sounded nice!

Thank you sir.

And no the fire in the mountains is not a result of the storm yesterday. Its been going since earlier this week and is about 8000 acres today. They are doing a back burn right now and think they will get it tonight but I think these west winds today will cause a problem

Cool vids I'd love to see one from a distance like that its much better then hiding in the storm shelter. I like the commentary too. "Its getting big again...."

We just passed through Weathland on our way to Devils Tower for climbing and then to see family in Sheridan. Beautiful country.
