MBRP DP to MagnaFlow 5"

Getting ready to install an MBRP 3" DP and a MagnaFlow 5" straight exhaust...my question is how does the DP and cat delete pipe connect? The cat pipe has a slit tip that compresses over the existing dp, the new stuff doesn't. I don't see how the flanges will mate.Anybody have experience with these putting these 2 together???

There should be a 4" pipe that has the same flange as the downpipe and the v-band clamp goes over. Then the 5" pipe slides over the 4" front pipe.

The MagnaFlow kit has a reducer pipe, it's got a 3" flange that opens up to 5" on the other end. The 3" end doesn't look like it will connect to the new dp...

Sounds like to me that you've got a cat - back exhaust and you need a turbo back setup.

It was listed as as well as stating on the box, dp back.

Just talked to one of the guys at Alligator Performance, he squared me away...they will sit flush against each other, not couple.:thumb: Thanks for the help Andy!
