MB trying to sale the Chrysler Company

One day, your buddy may be driving a General Motors Dodge. There has been talk lately that MB is trying to dump the Chrysler company for 5 billion dollars, and GM is supposedly in talks with them.

If GM did buy Chrysler what would happen to both of their diesel lines? Would we see Cummins with allisons in Dodge trucks? Or Would the Cummins line be defunct? So many questions would arise or would everything stay the same and would GM collect on both the trucks?

Maybe we would get our straight front axel finally or at least an option for it that would be nice for pulling!!!

I seen this the other day. I'd guess they would keep things seperate still and collect from both loyal groups. If they went to changing too much on the Dodge line of trucks, especially the engine, that would be a sure fire way to LOSE customers and that would NOT be good with taking on new ownership.

I just can't figure how these companies (all three) are in such limbo according to the press yet there is talk of one buying the other, etc., etc.

I don't think it would be any different than it is now though, just the money would end up in someone elses pocket insted of DC.

I don't care what happens, the only chrysler car I'd remotely think of buying would be the Challenger SRT.

Other than that, just preserve the heritage. MOPAR!
