I'm in the market and ready to buy some valve springs and have been looking at the dual spring set up at maxspool, they will be in a dd set up, who hear is running them and how do you like-dislike them? Thanks

Yeah that has crossed my mind another thing the seat pressure on the maxspools are 165 compared to the Hamiltons 135 and the socals 120-125 "beehive" that 165 would be to much for dd use in my mind how much can the lifters take??

Been running the Maxspool dual springs and titanium retainers for several years on my truck. Have performed as advertised with several different cam profiles and high rpm.

If you want to look at how things will mesh completely think about these.

Lobe acceleration ramp
Nose
Lobar deceleration ramp
Camshaft Base circle
Lobe width
Lifter style (different designs will entail different levels of performance capabilities)
Valve train geometry
valve train component weight
Camshaft material

Where are the limits at with valve float and valve bounce? Could seat pressures be conservative currently? Profiles change, so will spring rates. Just a food for thought!
