I have a 2001 2500HD crew cab 4x4, with the front torsions cranked up to level the truck out. I need to know what is the max tire height that i can get under there without it touching? It will be on the stock wheels.

thanks in advance!!

A friend has 305/70/16 on his '02 Chevy...Didn't have to trim the lower valance...Chevy might have more clearance than GMC, I had to trim my '05 and '07 GMC for 285s...

I also had trimming and tied my Ebrake cable back to fit 285's with just cranking the bars.

Seems to me the Crew Cabs sit lower up front than the ext cabs. My buddy had less trimming, more rooom on his ext cab.

is this for your dually ? if so you cant go that wide on the rear duals without spacers . if it is for a single wheel you can fit a 285/75r16's with the bars adjusted, 295's with some trimming . .
